    I am a technology teacher, writer, and creative problem solver. I help attorneys and legal professionals realize the technology that is available to them in order to create greater access to legal services.

    The Chicago Bar Association

    Trainer/Coordinator for the Department of Law Practice Management & Technology Sep 2014 – Aug 2017

    I plan the curriculum and teach a variety of programming in our Tech Center -- everything from hands on instruction in front of a machine, how to demonstrations, and one-on-one tutoring. For what I cannot teach, I coordinate with outside legal vendors to ensure that our members have the best information available to them.

    One of my favorite classes is Build Your Own Website. In just 3 hours, students walk out with a functioning website connected to their personal domain. The satisfaction of our members when they see their website is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job.

    I also teach classes on all major social media platforms; Microsoft Office 2010 and 2013 (each program and at multiple skill levels, with special focus on Excel); Office 365; document storage/management platforms such as Box and Sharefile; Windows 7; iOS 7,8, and 9; and cyber security with emphasis on ethics compliance.
